Willie Jene Tucker, 75, of Laveen, Ariz. passed away Monday, July 13, 2020, at the Banner Estrella Hospital in Phoenix.

She was born on February 28, 1945, in Vicksburg to Elmo and Beatrice Mayfield.

After a lengthy illness, she moved to Arizona to be near her daughter Lisa and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Tucker; her mother and father, Elmo and Beatrice Mayfield; three brothers, Eddie, Ernest and David Mayfield; and her youngest daughter, Gina “Pookie” Tucker.

She is survived by her three children, Shawn Jones, Lisa Sanders of Laveen, Ariz., and Joe (Charlotte) Tucker of Vicksburg; two brothers Carl (Rene) Mayfield of Fontana, California, Michael (Willie Ann) Mayfield of Vicksburg; four sisters Bobbie (Sye) Cooper of San Fernando, Calif., Sandra (Patrick) Bingham of Northridge, Calif., Terri Mayfield, and Lela (Mario) Soto of Vicksburg; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Ariz.
