The Vicksburg Warren Chamber of Commerce will host a Zoom meeting Wednesday to give details of a program that could help business owners pay for much of the on-the-job training for new employees.

The new program, which is funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, allows qualifying businesses to be reimbursed 50 to 75 percent of the salary of qualifying new hires for their first 320 hours.

Any company, large or small, that has been impacted in any way by COVID-19 is eligible to participate. Individuals being hired must also qualify.
