The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its search for a registered sex offender who has failed to re-register.

There remains an active warrant for Christopher Smith, who was listed on the state’s sex offender registry as having an Oak Ridge Road address.

According to the registry, Smith was convicted in DeSoto County in September 2000 for what was described as “touching of a child or a mentally defective, incapacitated or physically helpless person for lustful purposes.”
