Warren County announced 12 new cases, which in turn brought the county’s 14-day running thresholds closer to falling below the state’s threshold for being declared a “hot spot.” With the new cases, Warren County has reported 228 new cases over the past 14 days, a ratio of 467 cases per 100,000 residents

The 12 new cases give the county a total of 976 cases reported since March 29.

Even though the state has not been declared a hot spot by the state, any county that has more than 200 cases in 14 days and a ratio of more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents, could be considered one.

The previous deadliest days for Warren County were June 17 and July 8, when the county announced two virus-related deaths.
