Emergency units respond to early morning accident on Grange Hall Road

Emergency officials responded early Thursday to an accident on Grange Hall Road that resulted in serious injures.

At around 1 a.m., 911 received a call of a single-car accident on the 500 block of Grange Hall Road, where the driver was entrapped.

Witnesses said the Nissan Sentra was traveling east on Grange Hall Road when the car left the roadway and rolled over. It came to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Emergency officials on the scene had to work to remove the unidentified driver, who was airlifted to a University of Mississippi  Medical Center.

Additional information on the drive’s identity and his condition were not provided.
