The Vicksburg Police Department is asking the community’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery Saturday.

Just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the BG Junior convenience store on Clay Street for a report of an armed robbery.

Clerks told investigators a black male, dressed in all black with a black bandana covering his face, pointed a gun at them and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot with $170 stolen from the cash registers.
