Crime reports: Police respond to multiple auto burglary calls Monday

The Vicksburg Police Department responded to multiple auto burglary calls Monday.

At 7:49 a.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in reference to an auto burglary. The owner reported someone broke into a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid and stole a box of ready-to-eat meals.

At 10:54 a.m., Vicksburg Police took a report of an auto burglary that had occurred at Riverwalk Casino, 1046 Warrenton Road.  The victim reported someone broke into a 2014 Chevrolet Impala and stole a 357 Magnum revolver.

At 4:10 p.m., Vicksburg Police took a report of an auto burglary that had occurred at the Circle K convenience store, 3400 Halls Ferry Road. The victim stated someone entered a 2010 Ford truck and stole a 9MM Sig Sauer semi-automatic pistol. The truck had been left unlocked.
