St. Aloysius’ bid for a berth in the MAIS Division II girls’ soccer playoffs ended Monday, with a 2-1 loss to Washington School.

Bree Butler scored St. Al’s only goal, off a direct kick from Cati Mathews.

The Lady Flashes, who won state championships in 2015 and 2018, will miss the playoffs for just the second time in six seasons since joining the Mid-South Association of Independent Schools. They have an 0-4 record in the Division II West Region with one game remaining.
