A celebration of life has been scheduled for Demetrick Devonta Ross, Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at the Vicksburg City Auditorium at 10 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. at C J Williams Mortuary Services.

Demetrick accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age at Travelers Rest Baptist Church and later became a member of Mt. Carmel Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Mitchell Dent. He is a 2015 graduate of Vicksburg High School and he had a beautiful smile that would charm anyone’s heart. Demetrick was a very well-dressed man and he loved to be dressed in Polo Fashion and he was gainfully employed by River City Construction.

Demetrick leaves to cherish his loving memories his son, Karson M. Ross; his father, Malcolm Merrill; his mother, Sherry (Gary) Stewart; four brothers, Dominique Ross, Xavier Merrill, Chadrick Ross and Avonta Ross; four sisters, Ma’Cala Merrill, Martika Ross, Akia Ross and Lorna Ross; a special uncle, Jordan Smith Jr.; grandparents, Patricia Cole, Leon (Susan) Brown, Thelma (Charlie) Robertson; 12 aunts, four uncles; a host of other relatives and friends.
