Funeral services for Lula Anderson will be Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Reginald Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. with social guidelines strictly observed and facial coverings are required while inside.

Lula Anderson passed away Oct. 14 following a sudden illness. She was 64. She was a homemaker and member of the Bright Morning Star M.B. Church.

Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Preston and Mary Juanita Johnson; her daughter, Ronnie Juanita Boddie; and her sister, Adrienne Johnson.

She is survived by her four sons, Alexander Anderson, Evan Anderson, Abu Anderson and Joshua Johnson all of Vicksburg; her three daughters, Antoinae Jamison, Stephanie Hester and Dame’ Beard all of Vicksburg; her two brothers Carl Bey and John Tate both  of Vicksburg; three sisters, Stephanie Johnson of Vicksburg, Tammy Tate Robinson of  Minneapolis, Minn. and Sheena Flowers of Fresno, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
