Hinds Community College kicker Connor Smith, a former St. Aloysius star, was named the MACCC Special Teams Player of the Week. Smith was 4-for-4 on field goals, including the 25-yard game-winner as time expired, in an 18-16 win over Jones College on Oct. 15.
