DELHI, La. — Thursday, detectives with the Louisiana State Police announced the arrest of Shana McCullon, 49, of Delhi in connection to the shooting death of another Delhi resident.

According to a release from the LSP, Shana was charged with second-degree murder following the death of Ledon McCullon, 49. The agency did not provide any motive, nor did they provide how the two individuals were connected.

On Wednesday, detectives were contacted by the Delhi Police Department in reference to a homicide that had occurred within their jurisdiction. After responding to the crime scene on Second Street and through investigative means, it was determined that Shana was the suspect in the murder.

After she was arrested, she was booked into the Richland Parish Jail.
