Waterline break forces three schools to dismiss early

Published 11:22 am Tuesday, November 3, 2020

The Vicksburg Warren School District has announced the early dismissal of three of its schools following a waterline break.

Students at Beechwood Elementary will be dismissed at noon, with students at Warren Central High School and River City Early College being dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

The reason for the early dismissal is because the schools do not have water service after a waterline along Mississippi 27 broke.
