Reinhardt University defensive lineman Vertez Shorter, a Warren Central and Hinds CC alum, was selected to the All-Appalachian Athletic Conference second team. Shorter had 38 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks this season for the AAC champs.
