St. Aloysius volleyball player Lauren Flowers served five aces and had five kills in a 3-2 (25-21, 25-6, 14-25, 24-26, 15-4) victory over Clinton Christian on Monday. She served to win eight consecutive points in the fifth and final game.
It was the first win in the two-year history of St. Al’s volleyball program.The Lady Flashes snapped a 17-match losing streak.
St. Al will play at home on Sept. 19 vs. Christ Covenant. The middle school match will begin at 4 p.m., junior varsity at 5, and varsity at 6.
