Mrs. J.C. Templeton of Utica won the dot contest staged by the Rice Furniture Company. • A.L. Hoxie donated a steer to the emergency food department.

Stephen A. Russell arrived at Great Lakes, Illinois for Navy training. • John Raworth was re-elected president of the Vicksburg YMCA.
