Letting the good times roll – or Laissez le bon temps rouler, as the French say – during the Mardi Gras season is always a fun time for locals. So to show off all the vibrant costumes, krewes, masks, and beads, we would love for you to send us your favorite Mardi Gras photos so we can include it in the next issue of the Vicksburg Living magazine.
As most of you know, we have a section in the magazine dedicated to submitted photos and each issue is themed. For this issue, we thought it would be colorful and festive to include Mardi Gras pictures.
For those submitting, please include the names of all the people in the picture. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 19. For more information, email terri.frazier@vicksburgpost.com.

“From staying informed with local governmental issues to hearing the stories of its people, a hometown newspaper is vital to a community. I have felt privileged to be part of a dedicated team at The Post throughout my tenure and hope that with theirs and with local support, I will be able to continue to grow and hone in on my skills as I help share the stories in Vicksburg. When asked what I like most about my job, my answer is always ‘the people.’
