Grand jury indicts 3 on child sex crimes

A grand jury in Warren County has returned indictments against three individuals for sexual crimes against children.
Robert Early was indicted for statutory rape, victim under the age 14. The offense involved an incident occurring on or around January 2024. Early, who was 17 at the time of the incident, is accused of having sexual intercourse with a child who was 12 years old.
Levonte Delawrence James was indicted on two counts of sexual battery, victim under age 14. The first charge involves an incident occurring on or about February 2024 through April 2024 when James was 27 years of age. He is accused of sexual penetration with a child who was 11 years old at the time. The second charge involves the same dates and child.
Christopher Coke Jones was indicted on one charge of molesting. The incident occurred on or about October 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 in Warren County and involved a child under the age of 16.
In another case, Anthony D. White was indicted as a habitual offender after having previously been convicted of the felony of carjacking in 2002 and possession of a weapon by a felon in 2018. The most recent grand jury indicted White for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon after felony conviction stemming from an incident in July 2024.
