Central Mississippi will get an unexpected shot of Division I baseball this weekend when North Alabama and Saint Louis will play a three-game series at Trustmark Park in Pearl.
The series was originally scheduled to be played in St. Louis, but was moved because of cold, wintry weather.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m., and a single game Sunday at noon.
Trustmark Park will also host a game between Mississippi State and Southern Miss on March 4, and Ole Miss and Southern Miss on March 18,
Trustmark is also the home ballpark for Belhaven University, which will host Mississippi University for Women on Feb. 25 at 4 p.m.; and the Mississippi Mud Monsters, who will begin their inaugural season in the independent Frontier League in May.
