In a Facebook post Wednesday evening, B&B Theatres Vicksburg announced its closure effective at the end of the business day on Feb. 26, 2025.

“While this decision was not made lightly, the company remains committed to ensuring that all of its locations align with brand standards and long-term forecast,” the company said in its Facebook post announcing the closure. “As B&B Theatres continues to grow and evolve, the company remains deeply grateful for the support of its team members and guests in Vicksburg. The legacy of creating magical moviegoing experiences will carry on, and B&B looks forward to welcoming movie lovers at its locations across the country.”

The announcement did not specify a reason for the permanent closure and comes just two weeks after the adjacent bowling alley announced it will reopen under new ownership after closing its doors in 2023.

“At B&B Theatres, we are constantly evaluating our circuit to ensure that every location reflects the experience and quality our guests expect,” said B&B Theatres President Brock Bagby. “While it is always difficult to say goodbye to a location, we remain focused on our broader strategy of growth, innovation, and reinvestment in the future of our company, both independently and alongside partners that share that strategic vision.”
