A house at 913 First North Street has blown over as part of the storms experienced in Warren County Tuesday. The National Weather Service said Warren County had seen wind gusts as high as 45 mph.

Orion Jones, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Jackson, said that by 3 p.m., Warren County should be “in the clear” as far as any severe weather goes.

Warren County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 3 p.m. Jones said Warren County likely would remain under a tornado watch until there was no lightening in the area, but that if tornadoes occurred, they would most likely hit south of Vicksburg.

“Definitely monitor your phone,” Jones said. “Something could change, but it looks like (severe weather) will stay to the south (of Warren County).”
