Port Gibson Titans get their championship trophies

The Port Gibson Titans youth football team recently received its championship trophies for winning two major tournaments during the 2024 season. (Submitted to The Vicksburg Post)

The Port Gibson Titans received their championship trophies from The Battle of 61 and the Backyard Brawl championship tournament.

Attending the presentation were former NFL player Lawrence Pillers, a Hazlehurst native who played 10 seasons and won two Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers; and Jackson Freedom League commissioner James Davis.
