Girl Scout Troop #6150 was busy selling cookies in front of Kroger Saturday. Caitlin and Raigen Smith were manning the booth for their troop on a sunny afternoon as people lined up to buy the cookies, only available for a limited time each year.
Although this was the last weekend for troops to host sales booths at local stores, people still wanting a box of cookies can get one by contacting a local Girl Scout troop. Popular options are caramel and coconut Samoas, chocolate and peanut butter Tagalongs, mint and chocolate Thin Mints, classic shortbread Trefoils, peanut butter sandwich Do-Si-Dos, brownie and caramel Adventurefuls, marshmallow and graham cracker S’mores, crispy lemon Lemon-Ups and gluten-free Toffee-tastics.
Troop leader Juanita Smith said their troop still has cookies left, and anyone interested in purchasing cookies should contact her via her Facebook page at Juanita Wicker Smith.
