Dear Editor,

This is an open letter to the wonderful, warm and generous people of the city of Vicksburg! Recently, while in the city for work, my car got stuck in the mud. While waiting for roadside assistance, countless individuals, men and women, Black and white, young and old, stopped to see if I was okay, offered to help and even wait with me! What a great spirit and a caring community. Thank you for reminding me of the goodness in humanity!
