Voting is under way for The Vicksburg Post’s Athlete of the Week contest.
This week’s nominees are track athletes Julia Moberley (St. Aloysius), Arrionna Jenkins (Warren Central) and Amiya Hall) (Vicksburg); and baseball player Chad Fuson (Porter’s Chapel).
Voting is open until midnight Tuesday, and you can vote as many times as you want until the deadline.

Julia Moberley, a senior with St. Aloysius’ girls’ track and field team, won the discus at the PCS Invitational on March 1 and again at the Centreville Invitational on March 6, with throws of 85 feet, 2 inches and 84-11. She also finished second in the shot put at Centreville with a throw of 27-4.25.
Arrionna Jenkins, a junior with Warren Central’s girls’ track and field team, won the shot put and the discus at the VHS Gator Invitational on March 5. Jenkins had a throw of 36-10 in the shot put, and 105-7 in the discus as the Lady Vikes also won the team title.
Amiya Hall, a sophomore sprinter with Vicksburg High’s girls’ track and field team, won the 200 meters with a time of 25.86 seconds, and was second in the 100 meters in 13.07 seconds at the VHS Gator Invitational on March 5.
Chad Fuson, a junior with Porter’s Chapel Academy’s baseball team, had 13 strikeouts in five innings pitched and went 1-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored at the plate in a 16-6 victory over Hillcrest Christian on March 6.
