Campers ranging in age from 4 to 11 were busy spending their spring break at Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation’s (SCHF) annual Southern Exposure camp Tuesday.

The camp lasts through Friday and strives to give children an opportunity to spend their break from school “exercising mind, body and soul,” organizers said.

Campers will spend the remainder of the week taking part in lessons ranging from art to gardening and much more, with plenty of exercise mixed in throughout the day. 

The next opportunity for children to take part in an SCHF camp will begin May 27.
