Mrs. Annie Stewart Bloomer Cook died in a house fire.

30 YEARS AGO: 1995

Work began to restore the historic Pemberton Headquarters building.

The Mississippi Department of Transportation project offices moved into Ceres Research and Industrial Interplex in Flowers. 

10 YEARS AGO: 2015

Despite heavy rain across the area, Vicksburg and Warren County escaped major flooding.
