Who’s Hot: Faith Kivett

Southern Miss softball player Faith Kivett, a former Tallulah Academy star, went 1-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored in an 8-7, extra-inning win over Alabama State on Wednesday.

Kivett, a senior centerfielder, is batting .250 with two RBIs and five runs scored in 18 games this season. She has had a hit and scored a run in three of her last four games.

Southern Miss (12-13) is scheduled to play a three-game series at Georgia Southern on Friday and Saturday to begin its Sun Belt Conference schedule.
