St. Aloysius’ girls’ golf team hit the fairways at Clear Creek Golf Course on Tuesday for a head-to-head match-up with Lamar School.
Lamar’s Caitlyn Entrekin was the low scorer, with a 79, and the Raiders won the team battle as well, 462 to 420. The top four scores from each team counted toward the team total.
Ali Grace Luke was St. Aloysius’ top golfer, with a 108, and Gracie Griggs shot 113.
St. Al’s girls’ golf team will play again on March 27, at the MRA Tournament at Canton Country Club. The boys’ team is scheduled to host its own tournament at the Vicksburg Country Club on Thursday, in a make-up of an event rained out on March 4.
