She had two hits and scored twice in an 8-7 win against Loyd Star on March 6. Her single started a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning that gave the Lady Vikes a walk-off win. McKay then went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and scored twice in a 13-0 win over Bogue Chitto on March 14.

For the season, McKay is batting .361 with four RBIs and nine runs scored in 12 games.
