The No. 2 girls doubles team of Julia Tuminello and Jane Mathews had to work a bit to secure a 6-3, 7-5 victory, but the rest of the Flashes’ points came easier.

The mixed doubles pairing of Sarah Smith and Walker Moore won 6-0, 7-5. In No. 2 boys doubles, Grant Gattle and Michael Moore won 6-0, 6-0.

Both girls singles players also won. Carrie Wood won her match 6-2, 7-5 and Cristin Wood won 6-4, 6-2.

St. Al has several regular-season events left, including the Vicksburg Invitational on Saturday and a match against Clinton High School on Monday. Both are at Halls Ferry Park.

St. Al will also host the District 4-5A tournament on April 9, beginning at 9 a.m.
