LSU Shreveport baseball player Vantrel Reed, a former Warren Central star, went 6-for-11 with three doubles and five RBIs in a three-game sweep of Huston-Tillotson March 14-16.

Reed is batting .294 this season, with five doubles, one home run, 20 RBIs and 17 runs scored. In his last five games he is bating .400 (8-for-20) with nine RBIs.

LSU Shreveport (25-0) is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA.
