St. Aloysius track athlete Samantha Edwards won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the Bayou Academy Invitational on Wednesday, March 19.

Edwards had times of 2 minutes, 40.68 seconds in the 800; 6:00.81 in the 1,600; and 13:10.13 in the 3,200. She won all three races by at least 10 seconds each.

In three meets this season, Edwards is undefeated in all three distance running events. St. Al’s next track and field meet is April 3 at Centreville Academy.
