McCloud is the first St. Aloysius player since 2004 to earn the honor. The Tougaloo College signee averaged 18.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 2.2 assists per game. He also and had six double-doubles and reached the 1,000-point plateau for his career. McCloud is only the second St. Al player since 2000 to score 1,000 career points.
Vicksburg High’s Troy Stewart was selected as the Coach of the Year for Warren County, while the Missy Gators’ Cynia Johnson and Zion Harvey were the girls’ Co-Players of the Year.
The other All-County players represented their schools — Vicksburg, Warren Central, St. Aloysius and Porter’s Chapel Academy — well. Congratulations to all of them!
