Graveside services for John Henry Tyler are to be held Saturday, April 5, in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at noon with the Rev. Kevin Winters officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, in the Funeral Home from 5 to 6 p.m.

John Henry Tyler passed away Friday, March 21, in Buffalo, New York following a brief illness. He was 67. He was more affectionately known as Jabo and had served in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Tyler Sr.; his sister, Dora Ann Tyler; a brother, Robert Earl Tyler; and his stepfather, Rubin Kelly.

He is survived by his mother, Earline Nailor Tyler Kelly; his daughter, Keisha Tyler Anderson of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Kendra Stanton of Toronto, Canada; three sons, Jermaine Tyler of Toronto, and Canada Justin Harris and Jamie Woods, both of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Tyler and Nikole Tyler Jones, both of Vicksburg, and Rachel Ray Tyler of Jackson, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family, including the King, Johnson, Woods, Pampley and Roundtree families.
