Memorial Day kicks off summer May 26 and the season is officially recognized June 20.

This year, we thought it would be apropos to reach out to the community and invite folks to submit their favorite summertime photos for the upcoming May/June issue of Vicksburg Living magazine. 

These photos can include pictures of friends and/or family chilling by the pool, sipping a cool drink on the porch, enjoying a vacation or tailgating at the ball field. Some people may spend their summer gardening and, if so, send us a photo of that person amongst the pretty plants. 

The sky is the limit when it comes to summertime photos, but they all must include the names of everyone in the pictures. The deadline for submissions is April 14. To submit, email photos to terri.frazier@vicksburgpost.com or message them to the Vicksburg Living Facebook page.
