Warren Central Intermediate’s Beta Club came away with some big winners at the recent state convention.

Elementary winners included: Quiz Bowl – third place, Case Cable, Dekari Clark, Frederick Cole and Captain Karter Galloway; Book Battle – third place, Derrick Allen, Dekari Clark, Frederick Cole and Anastasia Colon; fourth-grade math – fourth place, Drashana Funchess; fourth-grade science – second place, Kevin Scott; and fifth-grade spelling – first place, Giovanna Stewart.

Junior winners included: Sixth-grade spelling –  fourth place, Taliyah Atlas; sixth-grade ELA – fourth place, Trystan Stewart; sixth-grade U.S. History – second place, Rush Sudds; sixth-grade Computer Science – first place, Ella Watkins; sixth-grade Health and Physical Education – fifth place, Jonathan Robinson.
