3 cases heard Thursday in Warren County court

Three people made appearances before Judge Toni Terret in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court Thursday in Vicksburg.

Corey Wilson, who is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine – between two and 10 ounces – from 2022 saw a trial date set for September 11. Wilson is also facing charges in connection with a drive-by shooting in November, which remain pending

Keandre Harris is being held on two counts of carjacking. The first incident occurred Dec. 19, 2019, when Harris allegedly stole a black Toyota Corolla. The second incident occurred Jan. 21, 2020, when he allegedly stole a gray Honda Accord. Harris filed a motion to have bond reinstated, which Terret denied.

James Linton, who was charged with malicious mischief in an incident that occurred Sept. 9, 2020, had his 60-month sentence revoked and was subsequently sentenced to serve time in a restitution center, where he will serve the original sentence or work off owed fines and fees, whichever occurs first.
