Warren Central outfielder Hayes Loper has been selected to play in the Crossroads Diamond Club MHSAA Class 6A/7A baseball all-star game May 27 at William Carey University in Hattiesburg.

Loper is batting .430 this season, with eight doubles, 17 RBIs and 26 runs scored.

Warren Central will play Center Hill in a first-round series in the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs beginning Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m. at WC’s Viking Field. Game 2 will be April 26 at Center Hill, and if a Game 3 is needed it will be back at Warren Central at 6 p.m. on April 28.
