Shooting at Claiborne County apartment complex leads to 4 arrests; 12 identified as possible suspects

A shooting at an apartment complex in Port Gibson Monday injured one man and has led to four arrests, so far.
“At approximately 12:05 a.m. on April 21, 2025, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) received a call reporting multiple gunshots fired at the Magnolia Apartment Complex,” CCSO officials said. “Shortly thereafter, Claiborne County Hospital notified our office that a Black male victim had arrived at the emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound.”
During the course of the investigation, CCSO said, deputies were able to identify 12 individuals believed to have been involved in the shooting. Arrested were Jeremiah Jackson, Malik Taylor, Dominic Davis and Kerry Flowers.
CCSO said the incident remains an active and ongoing investigation, adding additional suspects have been identified and further arrests are expected.
