In the first inning, Warren Central leadoff batter Mari Kynlea Ferguson walked, got to third base on two passed balls, and scored on an error. After another walk, Williamson singled to right field to plate both runners for a 3-0 lead.

Warren Central only had four hits in the game. Williamson and Pant each had one, and Addi Mullen had two. Anzley Keen walked three times and scored a run.
