Richard Burns Jr. passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Chicago. He was 90.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at noon Saturday, May 3, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Joseph Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Church Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service. Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
