Luke Yocum, a Porter’s Chapel Academy alum, finished fifth overall to help the Mississippi University for Women’s men’s golf team win its second straight St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship.

Yocum shot a three-round total of 214 (72-70-72) to earn all-conference honors for the second year in a row.

MUW had a team score of 287, which was 14 strokes ahead of runner-up Lake Forest College. The Owls clinched a berth in the NCAA Division III championships May 20-23, at the Midvale Country Club in Penfield, New York.
