Port Gibson track and field athlete Amari Trevillion won the MHSAA Class 3A championship in the girls 200 meters at the state meet on May 5, with a time of 25.91 seconds.

The freshman also finished second in the 400 meters, with a time of 59.99 seconds, and third in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet, 7.5 inches.

Trevillion won the Class 3A championship in the 400 meters in 2023 and 2024.
