The Warren County Lady Bulls won three of their four games over the weekend to claim the 11U girls championship of the Red River Rumble basketball tournament in West Monroe, Louisiana.
The Lady Bulls beat another Vicksburg team, the Lady Storm, 19-7 in the championship game.
Lauren Brown scored eight points against the Lady Storm and was named the tournament MVP. She averaged 10 points in the four games, and scored a game-high 17 in the team’s first pool play game.
Other team members are Victoria Young, Pharrah Moody, Bryleigh Landers, Liza Newman, Kyla Sloan and Annalise Henry. The team is coached by Johnny Williams.
The Lady Bulls will return to action for the Divas of the Court – Louisiana tournament May 24-25 in Ruston, La.
