Some of Mississippi’s best pickleball players will come to Vicksburg for one of the state’s marquee events.

The State Games of Mississippi Pickleball Tournament will be held May 31 and June 1 at the Halls Ferry Park courts. There will be singles and doubles brackets and six age divisions.

Men’s and women’s doubles matches will be played on May 31 beginning at 8 a.m. The men’s and women’s singles tournaments will follow after the doubles tournament is completed.

Mixed doubles matches will be played June 1 beginning at 8 a.m.

The age divisions are 17-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-and-over. The registration fee is $70 per player for each event. Players cannot have more than one partner in the doubles tournaments.
