Ward 1 Alderman TJ Mayfield has announced the property at 1306 Mulvihill Drive has been awarded the Ward 1 Yard of the Month for its outstanding beauty, diligent care, and contribution to neighborhood pride.

Each month, the Yard of the Month program recognizes residents who go above and beyond in maintaining their outdoor spaces, showcasing exceptional landscaping, creativity, and curb appeal. The yard at 1306 Mulvihill Drive exemplifies these standards with its lush greenery, well-manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds, and thoughtful design, Mayfield said.

“Properties like 1306 Mulvihill Drive help define the character of our community,” Mayfield said. “The dedication to keeping such a beautiful and inviting yard not only enhances the neighborhood, but also inspires others to take pride in their own homes.”

The Yard of the Month program encourages community engagement and helps promote a sense of civic pride throughout Ward 1, he said. Winners receive public recognition and a sign placed in their yard for the month.
