A crowd was on hand for this year’s Symphony at Sunset at Vicksburg National Military Park, where the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra was only briefly delayed by bad weather earlier in the day before presenting “Patriotic and Pops” ahead of Monday’s Memorial Day holiday.

Organized in part by the Friends of the Vicksburg National Military Park and Campaign, the performance has become a mainstay for the Memorial Day weekend in Vicksburg.
