Department of Public Safety issues Mississippi’s Most Wanted list

JACKSON — The Mississippi Department of Public Safety on Wednesday issued its latest “Mississippi’s Most Wanted” list featuring eight fugitives who are facing felony charges across the state.
Mississippi Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell said the list was compiled by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation in collaboration with law enforcement agencies across the state. Charges against the fugitives range from auto burglary to first degree murder.
“We remain committed to enhancing public safety across our great state,” Tindell said. “The individuals on this list pose a serious threat to our communities. By increasing public awareness through the Mississippi’s Most Wanted list, we hope to assist law enforcement in locating and apprehending these fugitives.”
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the individuals listed on the Mississippi’s Most Wanted list should contact their local Crime Stoppers, call 1-888-8CRIMES (1-888-827-4637), or submit a tip online through this link. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and you may be eligible for a reward if your information leads to an arrest.
The list is available at the DPS web site and on the Mississippi Department of Public Safety’s social media platforms.
Those on the Most Wanted list are:
• Deont’e Laterrious Jaqu Hart, 22, is wanted for auto burglary, possesion of burglar’s tools, conspiract to commit auto burglary, and possession of methamphetamine.
Hart was arrested in Ridgeland in Nov. 2023 for burglarizing a vehicle and warrants were issued in Feb. 2025. His last known whereabouts were in the Jackson area.
• Yulanders Andre Hart Jr., 20, is also wanted for auto burglary, possesion of burglar’s tools, conspiracy to commit auto burglary, and possession of methamphetamine.
Hart was also arrested in Ridgeland in Nov. 2023 for burglarizing a vehicle and warrants were issued in Feb. 2025. His last known whereabouts were in the Jackson area.
• Marquise Lavonte Oliver, 18, is wanted out of Lamar County for directing youth to commit a felony, auto burglary, and grand larceny. He is out on bond for shooting into a dwelling and drive-by shooting in Covington County.
Oliver’s last known whereabouts were in the Laurel area.
• Justin Domonique Powell, 29, is wanted in Covington County for aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine. His last known address was in Prentiss.
• Kenyatta O’Keith Morris, 27, is anted for auto burglary, felony possession of a firearm, and felony fleeing. His last known whereabouts were in Canton.
Morris has been wanted by Madison police since May 2021 for fleeing in a vehicle and crashing at Sowell Road. He has been convicted of possessing a stolen firearm and has outstanding warrants for three counts of auto burglary in January 2021.
• David Henry Ferguson, 40, is wanted by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender since February. He has been convicted of two counts of sexual battery. Ferguson’s last known whereabouts are in the Flora area.
• Lamarcus Vernard Waldrop, 44, is wanted for first degree murder. He shot and killed a Lee County resident in May 2017 and has remained at large since then. His last known whereabouts are in Tupelo.
• David Hollis Manshack, 31, is wanted by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender. He was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault, and two counts of sexual contact with a child. He failed to register as a sex offender after he was released from prison in 2022.
Manshack might be homeless. His last known whereabouts are in the Florence area.
