IPFL to hold tryouts in Mobile on June 7

The Indie Pro Football League will hold another tryout and scouting combine for its inaugural season.
The tryout is scheduled for June 7, at 1 p.m. at Sage Park in Mobile, Alabama. Check-in will begin at noon. Online registration through the league’s web site, indieprofootball.com, is required. The tryout fee will be waived with the promo code Mobile2025.
The tryouts will be co-hosted by IPFL teams the Mississippi Tsunami and Alabama Forge. The Forge are owned by former NFL player Jamarcus Russell, a Mobile native. The Tsunami is owned by Dr. Kaeita Rankin, a Fayette native.
The IPFL is a national professional league for youth players ages 8 to adult. Players are paid a salary ranging from $125 to $625 per game in the youth divisions, and $2,500 for adults. The league plans to hold a draft in mid-June and begin its season later in the month.
